The online programs offered by Aligarh Muslim University is unique in several ways:

Course Structure – The entire program structure designed is quite relevant for the current generation of students. Apart from the subject papers, the course equips the students in various skills and working knowledge of computers and their applications.

Affordable Fees – The University has approved an affordable fee structure to ensure that students from across various strata of the society can enrol themselves thereby heralding true social inclusion.

Assessments – The final assessment of the students shall be conducted using a mix of theoretical assessments, continuous assessments, practical assessments, and employer assessments.

Application form duly filled along with a passport size photo and copy of the payment receipt.

Age Proof is required for all admissions and the following documents are considered in the order of priority

  1. SSC / 10th Class
  2. Birth certificate issued by the competent authority
  3. Evidence as per the passport copy
  4. An exceptional case is for those who are not in a position to produce the above and want to seek admission under Open System Category (18 years and above stream) are permitted to produce Notarized Date of Birth Certificate

For Admission into PG programs:

  1. 12th standard certificate

For Admission into Postgraduate programs:

  1. Graduation Original Degree / Provisional Certificate
  2. Memorandum of Marks Certificate of the Qualifying Examination
  1. SSC / 10th Class
  2. Birth certificate issued by a competent authority
  3. Evidence as per the passport copy
  4. An exceptional case is for those who are not in a position to produce the above and want to seek admission under Open System Category (18 years and above stream) are permitted to produce Notarized Date of Birth Certificate
  5. A copy of the passport

For Admission into Graduation programs:

  1. 12th std certificate

For Admission into Postgraduate programs:

  1. Graduation Original Degree / Provisional Certificate
  2. Memorandum of Marks Certificate of the Qualifying Examination
  3. A copy of passport
You will need to submit 1 photocopy of the above-mentioned documents attested/notarized by a gazette officer of the Government and 3 Passport size photographs along with it.
Yes, NRIs will be treated as foreign students.
For an online program minimum infrastructure requirement is (I) Laptop/ Desktop with a broadband connection (ii) Smart Phone with a 3G/ 4G Connection.
The University will conduct examinations in online mode, students need to have the basic infrastructure (Desktop/laptop/smartphone/ tablet and stable internet connection) to appear for exams.
The exam questionnaire will be a mix of MCQs, short descriptive & AV-based questions.
Students will get the soft copy of the Learning material in LMS, which they can download and print as per their requirements. There are no separate charges, the fee includes the cost of learning material.
The program will be conducted in online mode only.
Yes, all the online sessions are recorded and uploaded in LMS a few days later of the live session, students can log in to the LMS account to access these videos.
Yes, there is an attendance mandate. The learner should have minimum 75 percent participation in all the activities of online programme before semester end, examination or term end examination
A complete set of information shall be rolled out to the students in advance. It shall cover all the prerequisites for appearing in the examination.
